“Bad” bacteria are one of many disease-carrying pathogens which cause infections and disease, making us sick. These are the bacteria that are becoming resistant to disinfectants and antibiotics. On the other hand, “good” bacteria are some of the best decomposers and are very helpful in countering pathogens. They consume biofilm, destroying their food sources, ultimately eliminating them. They break down dead and decaying organic matter, from blood to dust mites, and best of all, they decompose leaving only eco-beneficial byproducts.
